Materials Research is a Major Focus at DIMENSION BOND®
The materials research at Dimension Bond includes basic formulation of bonded bearing materials. More than 3,000 abrasion/friction tests have provided DB with an array of materials unique and tested. Most coating manufacturers test their materials in the dry state, which is the essence of a dry film lubricant. However these materials are rarely tested in grease and oil dynamic environments.
Years of extensive laboratory testing, coupled with millions of parts tested by our customers in oil wetted applications, have provided Dimension Bond with a unique arsenal of proven materials like DB L9, along with superior bonded bearing surfaces for both dry and oil wetted applications.
